PLACES OF INTEREST
Mkaya Nature Reserve
is one of the best reserves that open

day. This reserve has become as a refuge for endangered species.
Elephants, white rhino, hippo, zebra, tsessebe and other antelope are
predominate;
the only
carnivores
that are
most likely
to be seen
are the
jackal and
hyena. Bird
watching is
excellent
and the
river
rafting is
unavoidable.

Hiker’s Paradise On the north- western boundary is the Malalotja Nature
Reserve, which is the highest and a hiker’s paradise. The second and third

bald ibis
and
swallows
nests that
you can get
close to. Over 1000 species of plant life
makes a
